Our Story.
At This Generation Career Coaching our mission is to help individuals navigate the careers journey from GCSE’s through to the early stages of their working life.
Acting as a 3rd party we are in a great position to provide impartial advice and act as a sounding board for each of our clients as they must make various decisions relating to their career choices.
Our only interest is ensuring that our clients have the best possible chance of fulfilling their potential when they start or are in the early stages of their career.
For the individuals we coach, it will be clear from our coaching methods that they can count on us to be a true ally in helping them reach their career goals.
For parents, we are very mindful of how the careers landscape is changing and how there are now many more options to consider when looking into further education / work experience / routes into employment. We can help to identify through the 1-2-1 coaching the options that might be suitable for your teenager / young adult, and most importantly how to help them find a way forward.

Our founder Ben Piercy-Hughes carries out the coaching and having learnt the hard way during the early stages of his career, he’s keen to make sure everyone he comes into contact with has the support to reflect and focus on their career aspirations.

Ben has taken a Life Coaching course with the University of Cambridge (Institute of Continuing Education) and is currently studying his QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development.
In addition, he is involved in career mentoring schemes and takes a keen interest in networking with Career Development professionals across the globe.
Ben has an Enhanced DBS Check (last checked March 2024)
Ben's passions include his family, travelling, running, tennis and golf.
